Bamboo is a natural, earth-friendly material known for its swift growth, strength, and ease to work with. It one of the planet's most untapped and renewable resources. Since our partnership began in 1999, Numi has sourced bamboo directly from a group of artisans in China. This collective consist primarily of women who have been given the opportunity to support and improve their family's livelihood thanks to this handcraft project.
