Certain materials are not suitable for cleaning in automatic dishwashers: silver, aluminum, brass, copper, antique or painted porcelain, wood and some plastic types (if in doubt, please check the manufacture's recommendation). These can all be washed by hand using Ecover Dishwashing Liquid.
