If the pacifier becomes lodged in the mouth, Do Not Panic- it cannot be swallowed. Carefully and gently remove from the mouth. Always use the pacifier with adult supervision. Do not leave a pacifier in direct sunlight or near a source of heat, or leave in disinfectant (sterilizing solution) for longer than recommended -- this may weaken the nipple. Never dip the nipple in sweet substances as your child may get tooth decay. To ensure hygiene, before first use, place in boiling water for 5 minutes, allow to cool and ensure any trapped water has been squeezed out from the pacifier. Clean the pacifier with warm water. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents on the pacifier. Cracking of pacifier components may result from excessive use of detergents. Should this occur, replace your pacifier immediately.
Please check the nipple before use by pulling on it. If damaged or weakness is noticed discard. For safety and hygiene purposes, it is recommended to replace the pacifier after 4-8 weeks.
